In compiling the nutritional information on this site a number of different methods have been used. With named, pre-packaged foods, such as those from supermarkets, the nutrition list as printed on the package has been used.

Certain suppliers have extensive nutritional listing of their products on their websites. Where available these have been used.

For general, everyday foods (apples for example) as wide a range of sources as possible have been used. The average value from all these sources have been worked out and then these values have been used in the database.

Where no information has been available no values are given. As and when the relevant information becomes available the database will be updated.

Important. As all foods are natural (grown not manufactured) and recipes subject to change and variation no information given in the Nutrition Lists can be guaranteed as totally accurate but are an approximate guide only.
